Welcome to New Salem Cemetery of Cayce, Mississippi and the New Salem Cemetery Corporation. New Salem Cemetery Corporation was founded in 1998 for the primary purpose of providing maintenance for this historic cemetery.

The annual meeting of the New Salem Cemetery Corporation will be Saturday, August 15, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Cayce Baptist Church. Please mark your calendar and share with your family and friends! Your presence and participation is needed and would be greatly appreciated. Workdays (usually in October and April) will be scheduled at this annual meeting.
This year we have a Zoom option for those who cannot attend In person. You do not need to have a Zoom account to participate. After clicking the button, click on "Join from Browser," then click on "Use Microphone and Camera"

Annual dues of $20.00 per person
Donation to the “Save the Stones” fund
Donation in memory or in honor of someone – a great way to remember someone!
General donation – this would be great to help fund the services of the Omega Mapping Services!
Please Note: New Salem Cemetery Corporation now has a Venmo account! You can now pay your dues and make a donation using Venmo. Search for #NewSalem_Cem. Please include a description of your dues and/or donation. However, since our account is not a personal account, there is a service fee of 1.9% plus $.10. So if you use Venmo, please consider increasing your payment/donation accordingly to cover this convenience fee. Thank you!

New Salem Cemetery Corporation has established a fund-raising project called "Save the Stones." This special project has been established to facilitate the ongoing preservation and restoration of the headstones. You can specifically donate to “Save the Stones” to help continue the work to protect, preserve and restore the headstones of the New Salem Cemetery.
